Join us for our spring virtual events, hosted live by our counselors. They will present on a variety of topics and will be available to answer questions. Learn more about the admissions process, campus community, and the University of Rochester’s unique approach to learning.
Our general information session is a great way to get an overview of the University of Rochester’s unique approach to learning, the campus community, and the admissions process from one of our admissions staff members. This one hour session allows for plenty of time to also have any of your questions answered through an online chat feature.
Virtual information sessions will be offered Mondays and Fridays from 9:00–10:00 am EDT, 1:00-2:00 pm EDT, and 4:00–5:00 pm EDT during the month of May, June, and July. We also have two evening sessions on Wednesday, May 13th and Wednesday, May 27th from 8:00-9:00pm EDT.
Navigating the college search and decision process can be difficult. Our College Admissions Workshop Series is designed to give you an opportunity to learn directly from our admissions staff on important focused topics related to the college admissions process. Our staff will guide you through each topic and be available to answer any questions you may have as you prepare to apply to the University of Rochester or other institutions.

Virtual interviews are now available for current high school juniors and transfer students applying for Fall 2020. Virtual interviews are conducted online with admissions representatives using video chat software.
First-year applicants may interview now through the fall. Transfer students may interview now through June 1. Since admissions is rolling for fall transfer students, virtual interviews should be scheduled by the time your application is complete for it to be included in our review.
