Transfer Visit Days

Thinking about transferring to the University of Rochester? A Transfer Visit Day is an excellent way to learn about campus opportunities with other prospective transfer students.

Out of an abundance of caution and as a preventive measure the Office of Admissions has canceled all campus visits including daily information sessions, campus tours and large open house, and admitted student programming until further notice.

We appreciate the difficulty and inconvenience that this places on prospective students and their families during the important college search and decision process. We have developed opportunities for prospective students to connect with us virtually through online information sessions and webinars.

About Transfer Visit Days

While traditional Transfer Visit Days are still on hold, we are still committed to ensuring prospective students are able to connect with us. As a result, we are offering a virtual Transfer Information Session on Friday, October 30 at 11: 00 am EST, which will be hosted by a transfer counselor and current Rochester transfer students. This session is a great way to learn about our community and have your specific questions answered. We highly recommended interviews for all applicants as they are a great way to stand out from the crowd and share your educational and co-curricular experiences, interests, and personal qualities in a comfortable, conversational setting. For interviews to be included in our rolling admissions review, complete the interview around the same time you apply.

What to Expect
