Transfer Visit Days

Thinking about transferring to the University of Rochester? A Transfer Visit Day is an excellent way to learn about campus opportunities with other prospective transfer students.

About Transfer Visit Days

Join us for an admissions information session, take a tour of campus, speak with students, and complete an admissions interview. Interviews are highly recommended for all applicants and are a great way to stand out from the crowd. They’re also the best way to share your educational and co-curricular experiences, interests, and personal qualities in a comfortable, conversational setting. For interviews to be included in our rolling admissions review, complete the interview around the same time you apply.

Program dates for 2020 will be posted in September.

What to Expect

When you arrive on campus, you’ll check in at the Office of Admissions welcome desk and receive a packet with the following materials:

  • Information about Rochester
  • A list of all spring term classes that professors indicate you may sit in on
  • A list of departments and offices on campus with contact information and locations

Visiting Other Departments:

You may choose to arrive before the program begins to explore what matters most to you. During the day, you can visit academic departmentsathletics staffFinancial Aid and support offices in your spare time.
