HEAL Interview Program

The HEAL Interview Program will be held on February 4, 2020.  We are offering an optional overnight stay on February 3.

This is an invite-only program.

The interview is a mandatory part of the selection process.

Registration is closed.

Unfortunately, there are no alternative days for the interviews.

Monday, February 3, 2020 (Optional)

TIME EVENT
10:00am–1:00 pm Arrival and check-in, Wallis Hall
Check in and receive event details.
12:00–4:00 pm Free Time to Experience Rochester
Have lunch on campus, attend an open class, attend an Information Session and/or campus tour, or talk with an Admissions or Financial Aid counselor.
4:00–4:30 pm Overnight Host Match-Up, Wallis Hall
Meet and have dinner on campus with your Overnight Host.

Tuesday, February 4, 2020 (Mandatory)

Check-in and all events for Tuesday, February 4th will take place in the Saunders Research Building (SRB) unless otherwise noted.
9:45–10:15 am HEAL Welcome Address and Introductions, SRB 4.412
Event Welcome from Undergraduate Admissions, the Department of Public Health Sciences, AS&E, the School of Medicine and Dentistry, Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs, and Financial Aid
10:15–11:00 am Keynote Address, SRB 4.412
Dr. Edwin van Wijngaarden, Public Health Graduate Programs Director
11:00–11:30 am HEAL Student Panel, SRB 4.412
Hear from current University of Rochester HEAL and graduate students.
11:30 am-1:00 pm Lunch and poster presentation, SRB Atrium
1:00–3:00 pm HEAL Interviews, SRB Faculty Offices
Interview with UR Admissions Staff and Department of Public Health Faculty
1:00–2:00 pm Parent Session, SRB 3.434
Parents of HEAL finalists can talk with representatives from Undergraduate Admissions, Department of Public Health Administrators, and Financial Aid representatives.
