Prospective Undergraduate

We understand that the decision to invest in a quality education is substantial. That’s why we provide a sound program of need- based financial assistance. Typical packages include scholarships, grants, loans, work study, and outside awards.

Below are the financial aid application requirements for undergraduates applying as US citizens or eligible non-citizens for Fall 2018. Additional items may be requested once a financial aid counselor begins to review your application. Any subsequent requests for information will be emailed directly to you. It’s important to meet the deadlines listed below and to respond promptly to all additional requests for information.

CSS Profile

The CSS Profile is used to determine your eligibility for need-based University of Rochester grant funding.

The Profile will be available on October 1, 2018 for the 2019–20 academic year.

The FAFSA is used to help determine your eligibility for all federal aid programs.

Early Decision (ED) Students

  1. Submit the CSS Profile by December 1, 12:00 am ET.
  2. Submit the FAFSA by December 1, 12:00 am ET.

Regular Decision Students

  1. Submit the CSS Profile by February 15, 12:00 am ET.

Transfer Students
