Undergraduates interested in taking summer classes must complete the Summer Aid Application, available through FAOnline, by mid-February. The Financial Aid Office will process your request and determine your potential eligibility for federal and/or state aid. Private loans can also be used to pay for summer classes if you do not qualify for federal and/or state aid. Learn more and speak with your counselor if you have questions.
Changes you may see next year:
- The Perkins Loan program no longer exists moving forward. If you were eligible for Perkins and received it in the past, it will be replaced with Rochester National Grant, provided you would have normally received the Perkins based on our awarding policy.
- Remember, if your sibling is going to graduate with a bachelor’s or associate’s degree this May, you can expect to see significant changes in your financial aid package for next year. For more information, please reach out to your financial aid counselor.
If you are planning to move off campus next year, please remember to schedule an appointment with your financial aid counselor before you sign a lease to discuss how it may affect your aid.
It’s not too late to find a job! Many employers on campus post new positions for the spring semester.
