Graduate students enrolled at The College, Warner, Simon and the School of Nursing must complete the Graduate Financial Aid Application (Graduate Financial Aid Application 08-09) online if they are interested in applying for financial aid. Aid available to graduate students through the Financial Aid Office includes both Federal Direct and Alternative Loans.
Federal Direct Loans are available to eligible students. Eligibility requirements include the following:
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Matriculated Student (enrolled in a degree-seeking program)
- Enrolled on at least a half-time basis (minimum of 6 credit hours per term)
In addition to the Graduate Financial Aid Application 07-08 (Graduate Financial Aid Application 08-09), students who would like their eligibility reviewed for Federal Direct Loans will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Our school code is 002894.
The Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Application should be returned to our office if you are interested in loan eligibility through this program. Please note that you must have applied for the Federal Direct Subsidized/Unsubsidized loan to be eligible for this loan.
Alternative student loans require a separate application directly with the lender.
In order to have your student loan funds available at the start of the fall semester/quarter you should submit your application materials to the Financial Aid Office as soon after January 1 as possible, and before
June 1.
