The goal of the Overnight Hosting program is to provide high school seniors with a glimpse of what it's like to be a student at the University of Rochester. Prospective students will be matched up with current UR students, spend the night in a residence hall, eat in the dining halls, and possibly attend a class.
The life of a UR student is not totally structured, so neither is the overnight experience. For starters, though, you can expect to eat dinner with your host and take part in at least one campus activity, depending on what your host is involved in—you may sit in on a study group, attend a club meeting, or simply hang out in the dorms.
We look forward to having you spend the night on campus in the near future!
