Rochester Events: Off-Campus
Throughout the year, a variety of events are hosted across the country by admissions counselors, financial aid counselors, current students, parents, and alumni. Our admissions counselors visit hundreds of high schools throughout the year and attend countless college fairs across the country. Off-campus events are great opportunities for students and parents to learn more about Rochester from the people who know it best, without traveling far from home.
Interviews*
From August–early February, we meet with prospective students in one-on-one interviews. These are a chance for us to get to know you better and for you to ask us about Rochester.
The University of Rochester is now accepting the CIEE Applicant Interview (CAI). Interested students currently in China may find out more and apply to interview here: http://www.cieechina.org/cai.php. All deadlines are at 12:00 am EST.

Information Sessions
Held in select cities around the country, information sessions are your chance to learn from the experts, including admissions representatives, financial aid counselors, local high school counselors, and University deans. Topics covered include not only Rochester, but also the college admissions process in general, standardized testing, undergraduate research, and more.

*A Note about Off-Campus Interviews
If there is no interviewing event near you, or you can't make it to one in your area, you can schedule an interview with an alumnus/a beginning in October on your MyROC page. Please note: Priority will be given to Early Decision applicants requesting alumni interviews from October 1–12.
